Synopsis
Maggie remembers hanging out at the gorge with her closest friends after a blowout party. She remembers climbing the trail with her perfect boyfriend, Joey. She remembers that last kiss, soft, lingering, and meant to reassure her. So why can’t she remember what happened in the moment before they were supposed to dive? Why was she left cowering at the top of the cliff, while Joey floated in the water below–dead?

As Maggie’s memories return in snatches, nothing seems to make sense. Why was Joey acting so strangely at the party? Where did he go after taking her home? And if Joey was keeping these secrets, what else was he hiding?

The latest novel from the author of The Tension of Opposites, One Moment is a mysterious, searing look at how an instant can change everything you believe about the world around you.

Review
I hated this book for making me so furious. I was a mess after reading this book because it was just too frustrating reading about a book based on this kind of topic. What Shannon and Joey had done toward Maggie was so unfair to her. Joey did not deserved to die, though, but Shannon did!

The book was a bit predictable, but I still enjoyed it greatly (despite how furious I was). The ending was so sweet and romantic. I was so glad that Maggie was finally able to let go of her anger and feeling for Joey and moved on. And Adam was so adorable and sweet. It was nice that Adam and Maggie eventually found their happy ending after what their "friends" had done to them.

Well, damn. Now I'm going to have to read this one. As if my TBR list wasn't long enough already... =)

So prepare yourself for an emotional ride. :)

You're right. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster...and a severe need to maim.

I was more pissed at Joey than Shannon, though. What a complete tool.

They both were such bad people. This book got me all worked up lol... Glad my heart could contain all that emotions.
